What it is
MEDITECH was founded in 1969 and is privately held. Expanse, its web-based EHR, launched in 2018, and a hosted subscription is offered. Its main market is US community and mid-sized hospitals.
Care settings
Acute and small or rural hospitals are its main footprint. The vendor also lists emergency, mental health, home care and ambulatory settings.
